Applications are invited for a number of Scholarships being offered by the Adam Smith Business School for PhD study in Accounting & Finance, Business and Management or Economics.
Eligibility
Home/EU and international applicants are eligible to apply as well as existing University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School PhD students who started in year one within 12 months of the scholarship deadline. Both full-time and part-time students are eligible.
The Award
The scholarship will run for a maximum of three years full-time (2 years if awarded to 1st year Glasgow PhD student) or 5 years part-time commencing In September/October 2014 and will provide:
• an annual bursary equivalent to the RCUK rate – £13,863 (£6931.50 part-time) for 2014/15
• fees at the standard Home/EU or International rate
• a research support grant of £750 (£375 part-time) per annum
How to Apply
Applicants are required to make two applications: one for a place of study for a PhD in the Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow; the second application is for the studentship. Both applications must be complete by 17:00, Thursday 10th April 2014.
