The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Research Fellowship

The Bank for International Settlements invites research proposals from academics for its Research Fellowship programme. Fellowships will be awarded to scholars who have established a strong reputation in their field and whose proposal allows for fruitful collaboration with BIS economists.
Successful candidates will be invited to the BIS's Monetary and Economic Department (MED) for short periods, ranging from a few days to several weeks (not exceeding a maximum period of three months for a larger project). The Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) aims to attract excellent students from around the world. Students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) can apply for an Amsterdam Talent Scholarship (ATS).

The 3000 euro ATS is awarded at the end of every academic year to successful non-EEA students who have been enrolled in one of the programmes of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program

The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program at the University of Toronto is intended to recognize international students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and creativity and who are recognized as leaders within their school. A special emphasis is placed on the impact the student has had on the life of their school and community, and their future potential to contribute positively to the global community.   Awarded annually, these scholarships recognize outstanding students from around the world, including international students studying at Canadian high schools. This is U of T’s most prestigious and competitive scholarship for international students.  Each year approximately 37 students will be named Lester B. Pearson Scholars.
