ANZCA International Scholarship for 2012


The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists invites suitable applicants for the ANZCA International Scholarship for 2012.

This prestigious award is directed at anaesthetists/pain medicine specialists who are destined to be medical leaders in their home countries. The scholarship is offered to a recently qualified specialist (up to 40 years of age) from a developing country. It is intended to provide an opportunity for the specialist to develop skills to manage a department, act as a role model to local clinicians and promote education and training in their home country.

Engage in Conservation Project - Hamburg, Germany


The Dekeyser & Friends Foundation invites applications by young people from different countries, cultures and social strata to attend the Engage in Conservation Project. The project will be held in Hamburg where the young people would learn how to engage and empower young people to take action for biodiversity for two months starting January 2012, followed by a ten-month period, during which they will work on their own youth project at home supported by the Dekeyser&Friends Foundation.

The School of Journalism, Media and Communication wishes to appoint two studentships for MA (by Research). The studentships are tenable for up to 1 year [subject to satisfactory progress]. The studentship will cover the cost of tuition fees for UK/EU residents. The successful applicants will start on 1 January 2012.
