University of Queensland Centenary Scholarship





The School of Economics Centenary Scholarship is an exciting opportunity for students who excel academically to undertake a Bachelor of Economics at The University of Queensland.


What is the scholarship?
100% Tuition costs for three years, an AUD 20,000 living allowance per year, a single return airfare from the student's country of residence, and a one off book allowance of AUD 500.

Who is eligible?
  • Students must have completed Cambridge International A levels/Edexcel International A Levels  (min aggregate 15* / 17**) or the International Baccalaureate (IB) program (min 42);
  • Students must have an unconditional offer for the Bachelor of Economics commencing at UQ in 2017; 
  • Students must have applied for a single degree for the Bachelor of Economics
 *For those countries that work on the following A level scale
(A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1)
 **For those countries that work on the following A level scale
(A*=6, A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1)
If you have not completed the above International A Level system or the IB program then unfortunately you cannot apply for this scholarship. 

How do I apply?
Applications close Friday 11th November 2016 for Semester 1, 2017.
Students can apply for the scholarship by completing the scholarship application form, and providing a motivation letter & 2 referee reports.
Students must also ensure that they have completed and lodged their UQ application form prior to applying for this scholarship.
