Thanks to a generous grant from the A G Leventis Foundation, three postgraduate studentships are available for students who wish to pursue a full-time higher degree programme (MA by Research or PhD) in the fields of Modern Greek (including Cypriot) literature, language, history and culture.

Value of Award
The studentships will cover University tuition fees for one year only (at the rate applicable to UK and EU students) and may be applied for annually subject to a satisfactory progress report. Subsistence costs will not be covered.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have a first class or upper second class degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. To apply for PhD, candidates should also have completed, or be completing, a master’s degree in a relevant subject. Applicants will be asked to provide a detailed research proposal, two references and a transcript of qualifications.
