The Lloyd's Register Foundation (LRF) which supports the Centre for Safety & Reliability Engineering within the School of Engineering will fund three MSc Safety & Reliability Engineering Scholarships of £15,000. This will contribute towards fees and maintenance costs. This is part of the College of Physical Sciences Postgraduate Scholarships Programme.
The scholarships are open to all students commencing the one year full- time MSc in Safety & Reliability Engineering for Oil & Gas starting in September 2014. (Please note that the scholarship is not open to students wishing to commence the part-time distance learning programme).
As detailed above, the scholarship is valued at £15,000 for the one year duration of the MSc Safety & Reliability Engineering for Oil & Gas degree course. This will cover Home or RUK postgraduate tuition fees, with the remainder providing a maintenance stipend.
Please note: International students will have 60% of the International fee paid by LRF with the balance of the award being paid in the form of a stipend across the time of study. International students will therefore need to be able to meet 40% of their fees from their own resources as only 60% will be paid by LRF and the balance of the £15,000 will be paid in 12 monthly installments.
