The Business School at the University of Edinburgh will offer four MBA Achievement Scholarships, each with a value of £5,000, to candidates who can demonstrate successful prior achievement in contributing to the improvement of a business, social or public organisation.
This scholarship is available to both FT and Executive MBA students.
Eligibility
MBA Achievement Scholarships will be awarded to candidates who can demonstrate successful prior achievement in contributing to the improvement of a business, social or public organisation.
Examples of achievements could be:
- introducing an innovation;
- setting up a new enterprise;
- managing a successful project;
- achieving a change in behaviour; or
- introducing sustainable solutions.
Nationality Criteria: All Countries
Conditions
Candidates can only apply for a scholarship once they have received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to join the MBA programme and have either firmly accepted the offer or be intending to do so.
The scholarships will be deducted from tuition fees. Applicants who are sponsored by their employer or are in receipt of a full scholarship are not eligible for these scholarships.
If an applicant is successful in being awarded a scholarship, but subsequently declines their offer of admission to the MBA, the scholarship will be withdrawn and awarded to another applicant. An award will be withdrawn if a student fails to meet the conditions set by the University.
Recipients of scholarships will be expected to participate occasionally as ambassadors for the MBA programme and the Business School during and after their programme.
Successful applicants enrolled on the Executive MBA will receive half the amount of the scholarship awarded in each of the two years of the programme.
