The Peter Grant Entrepreneurship Scholarship at the University of Edinburgh offers a £5,000 bursary towards tuition fees to selected MBA students.
In addition to meeting the entry requirements for the MBA, applicants must demonstrate successful prior experience of entrepreneurship activity, including adding value/revenue through innovation in a commercial context.
Eligibility
MBA Leadership Scholarships will be awarded to candidates who:
- can demonstrate strong leadership experience or potential;
- have sound academic credentials; and
- who have substantive work experience, normally of at least five years.
Nationality Criteria: All Countries
Conditions
Candidates can only apply for a scholarship once they have received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to join the MBA programme and have either firmly accepted the offer or be intending to do so.
The scholarships will be deducted from tuition fees. Applicants who are sponsored by their employer or are in receipt of a full scholarship are not eligible for these scholarships.
If an applicant is successful in being awarded a scholarship, but subsequently declines their offer of admission to the MBA, the scholarship will be withdrawn and awarded to another applicant. An award will be withdrawn if a student fails to meet the conditions set by the University.
Recipients of scholarships will be expected to participate occasionally as ambassadors for the MBA programme and the Business School during and after their programme.
Scholarship Value: £5,000
Application deadline: Friday 31st of July 2015.
