University of Waterloo WIN Fellowships in Nanotechnology

The Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology is proud to announce the 2014 competition for Nanofellowships.

These Fellowships are awarded to top graduate students pursuing nanotechnology research at the University of Waterloo (UW). Since 2008 the Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) has awarded 200 Nanofellowships to Canadian and international students with outstanding academic qualifications and research potential. These prestigious fellowships valued at $10,000 each are awarded to new graduate applicants and current MSc and PhD students and supplement the Research Assistantship support provided by the supervising faculty member (since the minimum support level for a PhD student is $20,000 per year, a Nanofellowship holder will receive a total of at least $30,000).

To be considered for the Nanofellowship competition, you must:
I. Complete the Nanofellowship application form (submit completed form as LastName_FirstName.pdf to nanofellowship@uwaterloo.ca with subject line: Nanofellowship Application); and
II. Arrange for two electronic letters of reference to be sent directly to the WIN office (download the Reference Form from uwaterloo.ca/institute-nanotechnology/students/nanofellowships and fill out the “Applicant’s Information” section before sending a copy to each of your referees.)

All documents including the reference letters must be received electronically at WIN by April 30 2014. Late applications will not be accepted.

For more information and application please visit the University of Waterloo WIN Fellowships in Nanotechnology page.
