Fourteen new
scholarships are now available for international applicants of postgraduate
taught masters programmes in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Named after
the University’s founder, the John Anderson International Scholarships
will be awarded on the basis of student academic excellence and are aimed at
raising the international profile of the University.
Each
scholarship will provide successful applicants with a contribution of 5K
towards the overall tuition fee of their chosen postgraduate taught programme.
To be
considered for a scholarship all candidates must have applied to a postgraduate
programme by 31 May 2014 and would normally hold a first class honours degree
or equivalent.
Incomplete
applications will not be considered.
Eligibility Criteria
- Application to postgraduate
taught programme must be received by 31 May 2014
- Current applicants will be
automatically considered
- A conditional or
unconditional offer to study must have been made
- Candidate will normally hold
a first class honours degree or equivalent
Scholarship Terms
- May be used in conjunction
with other funding subject to approval
- Available to all students of
all Masters level postgraduate taught programmes in the faculty of
Humanities and Social Sciences
- Excludes distance learning
programmes
