The University of Bradford Countries in Crisis Scholarships
are intended to aid students in financial hardship due to the fact that they
are domiciled in a country that is in crisis as a result of the political
situation, war, natural disaster etc.
Students must be on a full-time Master's programme (not MBA)
and be self-funded. Students must be studying based at the University of
Bradford i.e. distance learning students are not eligible to apply.
Students from the following list of countries are invited to
apply for these scholarships. However in extreme circumstances applications
from students from other countries will be considered by the panel.
Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Burundi, Cameroon, Central
African Republic, Chad, Colombia, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti,
Eritrea, Ethiopia, Georgia, Guinea, Haiti,
Honduras, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Lebanon,
Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Mauritania, Mozambique, Myanmar,
Nepal, Niger, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Pakistan, Russia (North Caucasus),
Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Swaziland, Syrian Arab Republic, Tanzania,
Timor-Leste, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
Scholarship value
Full tuition fees and accommodation in The Green will be
covered plus £3,500 per annum living costs to be paid in three instalments –
October, January and April. Each scholarship is worth approximately £20,000.
There will be a minimum of 3 scholarships available.

suits you best.

All parts of the form must be completed - if you don't then
your application will not be considered.
Please remember that the Scholarship panel will only have
your form to by which to judge your application so try to put as much relevant
information in there as possible.
You may want to highlight how the situation in your country
has specifically affected you and your family and why you wish to take up a
course here in Bradford.
All completed forms must be received by Monday 10
June 2013 - applications submitted after this date will not be
considered.
You must provide an offer letter from the University dated
no later than Friday 17 May 2013.
Please apply for your place to study as soon as possible to
allow plenty of time to meet these deadlines. We will not consider late
applications or offer letters dated after the 17 May 2013.
