Three scholarships of £27,000 per annum will be
available to PhD students applying for entry in Autumn 2014 in the areas of
History, Literature and Languages.
Award Details
- Scholarships
will be available at the level of £27,000 per annum for a maximum of three
years.
- This
includes full payment of the academic course fees and a maintenance
payment of the remaining funds. The maintenance payment will be paid
directly to the award holder to enable them to utilise the funds for
research and training costs.
Eligibility
- Applicants
must be applying for a full-time PhD (or MPhil/PhD) course at the
University of Warwick, expecting to begin in Autumn 2014;
- Applicants
must be applying to a department within the Arts Faculty or the Philosophy
Department.
How to Apply
Wolfson Postgraduate Scholarships will be awarded
through a combined postgraduate research scholarship competition. The combined
PGR scholarship competition allocates the following scholarships:
- Chancellor's
Scholarship
- Chancellor's
International Scholarship
- Wolfson
Postgraduate Scholarships
Applicants will be considered for all scholarships
listed above for which they are eligible when applying to the postgraduate
research scholarship competition.
To apply to the postgraduate research scholarship
competition there is one application form required, via a single combined
application form for postgraduate admission and for the scholarships.
The highest-ranked eligible candidates in subjects
with outlined above will be awarded Wolfson Scholarships, reflecting the
prestige of holding such awards and generous associated funding.
