International Research Candidate Scholarships at UNSW, Australia

UNSW offers the following scholarships to international research candidates of exceptional research potential to undertake a higher degree by research:


Note: only one application is required for the UNSW International Research Scholarships, applicants will be considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible.

• International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS)

• University International Postgraduate Award (UIPA)
• Tuition Fee Scholarship (TFS) plus a Faculty Research Stipend
• Tuition Fee Scholarship (TFS)*

* These Tuition Fee Scholarships are available for PhD, Masters by Research and Master of Philosophy (in selected disciplines depending on Faculty research areas). This scholarship is only available to candidates who are sponsored by their home country with a living allowance/stipend with a minimum value of $10, 000 per annum.

Note: Applicants applying in the discipline areas of Engineering, Business, Science or Humanities and Social Sciences who would like to be considered for a scholarship place at both the Kensington campus (Sydney) and UNSW Canberra campus should indicate this on the scholarship application form.
