London South Bank University Vice-Chancellors Scholarships

Applications are invited from all UK, EU and international students to apply for a scholarship at London South Bank University.

All Home, EU or International students who have firmly accepted their unconditional or conditional offer of a place to study on a postgraduate programme at LSBU are invited to apply for a scholarship in up to three of the following categories. Their application will be assessed and, if successful, the student will receive one award. Only one application is allowed.

Intellectual Property PhD - Herchel Smith Scholarships

Informal and Precarious Work Doctoral Scholarships

The graduate programme “Informal and Precarious Work: Historical and Social Sciences Perspectives”, funded by the Humboldt University Berlin within the framework of the Excellence Initiative and the Käte Hamburger Center “Work and Human Life Cycle in Global History” (re:work), shall award two doctoral scholarships beginning on 1 January 2015.

Cambridge International Scholarship Scheme

The University of Cambridge will offer, via the Cambridge Trusts, approximately 80 Cambridge International Scholarships to Overseas Students who embark on a research course in the next academical year.

Bond University International Student Scholarship

The International Student Scholarships are available to international students who have demonstrated outstanding academic ability (academic merit based scholarships).

Edinburgh Global Master's Scholarship

The University of Edinburgh will offer 30 Master's scholarships for postgraduate study in any subject offered by the University for the 2015-2016 academic session.

Fifteen scholarships will have a value of £5,000 each, while a further fifteen scholarships will have a value of £3,000 each. These scholarships will be tenable for one academic year and will be deducted from tuition fees.

Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship

The Developing Solution Master Scholarships are designed for international students who want to study in the University of Nottingham in UK and make a difference to the development of their home countries.

TAFE NSW Scholarships

In 2015 TAFE NSW Institutes are offering over 100 scholarships to international students to study a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree or a Bachelor Degree.

Each scholarship contributes $2,000 towards the tuition fees for a TAFE NSW course.

ICMS International Scholarship

The International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) is offering a scholarship to an International student who will be commencing their studies at ICMS in February 2015.

Ghent University Master Grants for Students From Developing Countries

Ghent University provides Master Grants to candidates from developing countries who wish to obtain a master’s degree at Ghent University.

They are awarded for the duration of the studies with a maximum of 2 years. In case of a two-year-programme the scholarship will only be paid for the full term if the student successfully completes the first year of the programme.

University of Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship

The International Undergraduate Scholarships were established by the University of Melbourne in recognition of the significant contribution made by international student to the diversity of the University's student population.

The University usually awards 50 scholarships per annum.

University of Newcastle International Masters Excellence Scholarships

The Faculty of Medical Sciences at Newcastle University is offering a small number of excellence scholarships for MSc Medical Sciences programme and available MRes programmes.

The scholarships have a value of £1500 and are offered to self-funding international (non-EU) applicants for 2015 entry into the MSc Medical Sciences programme and the following suite of MRes courses:

Loughborough University Undergraduate International Scholarships

Over 100 scholarships will be available for entry in 2015 to new self-financing full-time students eligible to pay international fees.

These scholarships will be to the value of 25% of the programme tuition fee and that value will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account.

Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme was established by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development to enable French higher education establishments to attract top foreign students to enrol in their master’s and PhD courses.

It helps to shape the future foreign decision-makers of the private and public sectors, in priority areas of study, and encourages applications from emerging countries at master’s level, and from emerging and industrialized countries at PhD level.

The Internet Society Fellowship to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Programme

The Internet Society Fellowship to the IETF is available to technology professionals, advanced IT students, and other qualified individuals from developing and emerging economies.

Fellows to the IETF attend an IETF meeting where they are paired with an experienced mentor and are expected to make a positive contribution to IETF work.

The Fellowship to the IETF helps to increase the diversity of inputs to, and global awareness of the IETF’s vital work. At the same time, the Fellows participate in the development of open Internet standards and best practices and make valuable connections with global peers with similar interests.

International Climate Protection Fellowships

The fellowship allows future leaders to spend a year in Germany working on a research-based project of their own choice in the field of climate protection and climate-related resource conservation. Dickson Poon Undergraduate Scholarships

Plymouth University Postgraduate Scholarships for International Students

Grass Fellowship Program 2015

Grass Fellowships at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, USA, support investigator-designed, independent research projects by scientists early in their career.

Supported approaches include neurophysiology, biophysics, integrative neurobiology, neuroethology, neuroanatomy, neuropharmacology, systems neuroscience, cellular and developmental neurobiology, and computational approaches to neural systems. The Foundation also has a longstanding interest in epilepsy-related research.

2015 Next Generation Fellowships (NGF)

Next Generation Fellowships are aimed at promoting the prospects of high calibre individuals pursuing innovative research falling within the remit of the Centre, with special reference to the trophoblast.

Applications addressing the Grand Challenges identified by the Centre will be particularly welcomed. The Fellowships are highly flexible to suit individual needs, and enable the holder to develop as an independent researcher within a supportive and stimulating environment. Holders are expected to apply for a Research Fellowship/Career Development Award from a research council or other funding body, or a faculty position during the course of their tenure.

The SpaceWays Scholarship

The SpaceWays Scholarship is designed to recognise the ability of students to create an innovative customer acquisition campaign for a young internet start-up.

Two scholarships of £1,000 each will be provided annually to students that are able to surprise, impress, and inspire us.

Ryerson University International Student Merit Scholarships

Ryerson University is inviting applications for international student merit scholarships to pursue one of a full-time, four-year undergraduate degree program.
