Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (SYLFF) Scholarship, Indonesia



Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Office of International Affairs is offering Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (SYLFF) Scholarship. The scholarship is available for doctoral and master’s students. 

The doctorate program is available for Non-Indonesian citizens while only Indonesian citizens can apply for master’s programme.

Doctorate Program
Requirements
  1. Non-Indonesian citizen
  2. Master holder with honor (GPA 3.70 or above of 4.00 scale)
  3. No more than 35 years old
  4. Outstanding English proficiency proven by TOEFL ITP 600 or equivalent
  5. Attached to university as lecture or mid-career professional in higher education institution in home country
  6. Listed as author of at least two papers published in international journal
In order to be considered, please submit the following:
  1. Filled application form (download here)
  2. A copy of academic transcript and diploma/master degree certificate
  3. A copy of valid passport (until 2017)
  4. A legalized copy of TOEFL or IELTS
  5. CV or Resume
  6. A copy of published paper in international journal
  7. One page letter of motivation
  8. Research proposal
  9. Two letters of recommendation/reference from home university/institution and previous supervisor
  10. 4 passport-size photographs
Master Program
Requirements:
  1. Indonesian citizen
  2. Bachelor degree holder from UGM with honor (GPA 3.70 or above of 4.00 scale)
  3. Outstanding English proficiency proven by TOEFL ITP 550 or equivalent
  4. Attached to university as future lecture
Please submit the following:
  1. Filled application form (download here)
  2. A copy of academic transcript and diploma/bachelor degree from UGM
  3. Legalized copy of TOEFL or IELTS
  4. CV or Resume
  5. One page letter of motivation
  6. Research proposal
  7. Two letters of recommendation/reference from home university or institution and previous supervisor
Submit your application to admission@ugm.ac.id with subject: UGM SYLFF Fellowship or mail it to: Office of International Affairs UGM Gedung Pusat UGM, 2nd floor, South Wing, Bulaksumur, Yogyakarta 55281.
