The Radboud Scholarship Programme offers a select
number of talented prospective non-EU/EEA students the opportunity to receive a
scholarship to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Radboud University. The Radboud
Scholarship Programme is very selective and is only intended for talented students
who have obtained outstanding study results and are highly motivated to pursue
a Bachelor's degree at Radboud University.
Scope
of the scholarships
For the academic year 2018/2019 the university
offers 4 Radboud Scholarships, one for each faculty offering English-taught Bachelor’s programmes. The scholarships will be awarded to selected
talented non-EU/EEA students.
Level
and duration of the scholarship
The scholarship consists of a partial tuition
waiver and pays for costs for visa and insurance. The tuition fee will be
waived to the level of an EU/EEA student. For example: a grant holder in
2018/2019 will pay a tuition fee of only €2,060, instead of €9,879 or €7,273.
In addition the Radboud Scholarship also covers costs such as those for visa
and residence permit, health insurance and liability insurance (Insurance
Passport for Students (IPS)). This
amounts to about €940.
The Radboud Scholarship is not a full scholarship and does not include living costs. You can find an indication of what international students should count on spending for one year of living and studying in the Netherlands, on our website.
The scholarship will be awarded for the nominal
duration of the Bachelor’s programme you are enrolled in. However, to qualify
for the grant during the second and third year, you need to have made
sufficient progress in the previous year.
