The Swedish Institute Study Scholarships, 2017

The Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS) are awarded to students from selected countries for full-time master’s level studies in Sweden starting in the autumn semester 2017.

The scholarships cover both living costs and tuition fees. An estimated 335 scholarships will be available.

The scholarship application period opens with a first application step 1 December 2016 – 16 January 2017, followed by a detailed second application step for successful candidates from the first step, on 1 – 10 February 2017.

2017 MBA International Student Scholarship in Australia

The MBA International Student Scholarship has been developed by Curtin Graduate School of Business to encourage and support students who have chosen to study the Master of Business Administration (MBA) as full-time students at Curtin Graduate School of Business (CGSB).

Uppsala University Scholarships in Sweden, 2017

There are a number of scholarships available for fee-paying international students who are applying to a Bachelor's programme in the area of Game Design or an international Master's programme commencing in the autumn of 2017.

Some scholarships are specifically for students who are applying to one of Uppsala University's Master's programmes, while others are open to both Master's and Bachelor's students. Maastricht University High Potential Scholarships in Netherlands

The High Potential scholarship is intended for excellent students from outside the EU/EEA who want to do a master's programme or a postdoc programme for professionals at Maastricht University. The grant is for all faculties with the exception of the School for Business and Economics (SBE).

The Global Leaders Fellowship at the George Washington University in America, 2017

The Global Leaders Fellowship is for incoming graduate students (master's and doctoral) at the George Washington University (starting Fall 2017) who will return to their countries of origin to apply skills learned through their formal education at the GW. The fellowship is intended for GW graduate students who will be future leaders in their fields in their home countries.

This fellowship is for students who have not studied or worked in the U.S. or other countries aside from their home country.

University of Sussex Chancellor's International Research Scholarship in UK, 2017

The University of Sussex welcomes applications from outstanding international applicants across the arts and humanities for 10 fully funded Chancellor's International Research Scholarships.

Scholarships are tenable for one year in the first instance, renewable annually for a maximum of 3 years.

Scholarships for International Students at Clark University in America, 2017

Edinburgh Global Research Scholarship

These awards are designed to attract high quality overseas research students to the University of Edinburgh.

ETH Zurich Excellence Masters Scholarships

ETH Zurich supports excellent students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree at ETH with two scholarship programmes.

Under the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) students receive a special scholarship for the duration of their programme as well as specific supervision. The scholarship covers the full study and living costs during their Master’s degree course.

Under the Master Scholarship Programme (MSP) students receive a partial stipend during their Master’s degree course and the offer of an assistantship.

Holland Scholarship

The Holland Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as several Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. This scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s in the Netherlands.

Alfa Fellowship Program

The Alfa Fellowship Program is a high-level professional development initiative placing up to 18 American, British, and German citizens per year in work assignments at leading organizations in Russia in the fields of business, economics, journalism, law, public policy, and related areas. Key goals of the Alfa Fellowship Program are expanding networks of American, British, and German professionals, developing greater intercultural understanding, and advancing knowledge of Russian affairs in the West.

University Twente Scholarship

The University Twente Scholarship (UTS) is a scholarship for excellent students from both EU/EEA as well as non-EU/EEA countries, applying for a graduate programme (MSc) at the University of Twente.

The UTS is not available for Dutch and/or current UT students. This programme is also not available for Master's programmes at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC).

Emile-Boutmy Scholarship

Sciences Po created the Emile Boutmy scholarship after the founder of Sciences Po (1871) in order to welcome the very best international students from outside of the European Union. The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements. 

2017 AIDS International Conference Scholarships

The scholarship is provided to delegates from over 200 Countries - researchers, health workers, students, young people, volunteers to attend the Aids 2017 Conference in Paris, France. Through the Scholarship Programme, the conference organizers commit to make the conference accessible to people from resource-limited settings, researchers, young people, and community representatives.

King’s College and International offer a TRACE studentship in Law. Funding is available for an LLM course of study in the academic year 2017/18.

BI Presidential Scholarships

Awarded to students who possess an outstanding record of superior academic achievement, the BI Presidential Scholarships are open to Norwegian and international applicants.

Eligibility:

Candidates with a GPA of A on the ECTS scale or equivalent top-level grade on international grade scales who apply for and are admitted to a Master of Science programme.

Students enrolled in BI’s Siviløkonom programme are eligible to apply in their 3^rd year.

The BI Presidential Scholarship is available to students in all Master of Science programmes.

RSM non-EEA Scholarship of Excellence

Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University offers scholarships for students from non-EEA countries who are not entitled to pay the EEA tuition fee, provided their grades are considered ‘excellent’. The scholarship will be provided in the form of a waiver from the non-EEA tuition fee.

Ferguson Scholarships at SOAS University of London

Thanks to the generosity of the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable trust, three Ferguson scholarships have been established for African Students (African nationals and resident in Africa), who wish to undertake a taught masters course at SOAS.

MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Michigan State University

The MasterCard Foundation has partnered with Michigan State University to provide full tuition scholarships to undergraduate and Master’s degree students from sub-Saharan Africa. 

Scholarship recipients are chosen from a pool of students who have demonstrated academic talent, are economically disadvantaged, and have a personal commitment to serve their countries or regions of origin.
