The University of Edinburgh offers a number of MBA scholarships which attract candidates with strong qualifications, work experience and/or strong leadership skills.
The Postcode Lottery Green Challenge Scholarships (£20,000)
Generous MBA/MSc Scholarships for Applicants with a Compelling Green Business Idea
The University of Edinburgh has linked-up with the Postcode Culture Trust to offer a number of scholarships of up to £20,000 for students wishing to study on our Full-time (12 or 16 month) MBA, MSc in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, MSc Carbon Finance or MSc Carbon Management programme in September 2016. The Scholarships are being offered to encourage strong UK graduates to pursue postgraduate study linked to sustainable business, and particularly those graduates who are entrepreneurially-minded and have a green business idea that they might eventually commercialise.
To be eligible candidates must be permanent residents of the UK, planning to commence study in September 2016, and meet the entry requirements (and ultimately become an offer holder) for one of our nominated MBA or MSC courses. You will also need to complete a short outline proposal for your green business idea, which will be evaluated by a panel from the Postcode Culture Trust.

TestPlant MBA Scholarship
This exciting Scholarship, donated by the international software business TestPlant, offers a £10,000 bursary towards tuition fees together with a paid internship in the Summer of 2016. To be eligible, candidates must be from China, and must have graduated with an IT-related degree and have at least three years’ work experience in a managerial role in a high-technology company.

MBA Leadership Scholarships
The Business School will offer five MBA Leadership Scholarships, each with a value of £10,000, to candidates who can demonstrate strong leadership experience or potential and have at least 5 year's work experience. This scholarship is available to both FT and Executive MBA students.

Grant Property Entrepreneurship Scholarship
This Scholarship, donated by successful entrepreneur and Edinburgh alumnus Peter Grant, offers a £5,000 bursary towards tuition fees. In addition to meeting the entry requirements for the MBA, applicants must demonstrate successful prior experience of entrepreneurship activity, including adding value/revenue through innovation in a commercial context.

Santander International MBA Scholarship
This Scholarship, donated by the global banking group Santander, offers a £5,000 bursary towards tuition fees. The award is designed to enhance the international diversity of the Edinburgh MBA, and is open to applicants from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, Spain, Uruguay, USA and Venezuela.

The Business School will offer three MBA Merit Scholarships, each with a value of £5,000, to candidates who can demonstrate exceptional prior qualifications. This scholarship is available to both FT and Executive MBA students.

The Business School will offer four MBA Achievement Scholarships, each with a value of £5,000, to candidates who can demonstrate successful prior achievement in contributing to the improvement of a business, social or public organisation. The Victor H Loewenstein Scholarship
The Victor H. Loewenstein Scholarship is awarded to one student on our Full-time MBA programme who is from outside the UK. The aim is to enhance the international nature of the MBA programme. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the benefits to the student, and has a value of £5,000.
