University of Geneva Excellence Master Fellowships

The Faculty of science of the University of Geneva, in collaboration with several sponsors, has established an Excellence Fellowship Program to support outstanding and highly motivated candidates who intend to pursue a Master of Science in any of the disciplines covered by the Faculty.

Edinburgh Global Online Distance Learning Master's Scholarship

The University of Edinburgh will offer 4 scholarships for distance learning Master's programmes offered by the University.

Scholarships will be available for students pursuing any distance learning Master's programme offered by the University.

Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fees over three years.

Campbell Fellowship for Transformative Research on Women in the Developing World

One six- or nine-month residential fellowship is available for a female doctoral level scholar whose research both documents the circumstances of women in the developing world and offers paths to concrete, practical strategies for improving their health, prosperity, and general well-being.

The Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) is a unique programme. Since its establishment in 1959, it has provided opportunities for over 30,000 citizens of all Commonwealth countries to study in other member countries.

2016 African Doctoral Dissertation Research Fellowships

The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), in partnership with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), is pleased to announce the ninth call for applications for the African Doctoral Dissertation Research Fellowships (ADDRF).

Announcement of Fellowship Opportunity: Soil Security - Research Fellowship Awards

NERC and the Scottish Government are inviting proposals for fellowship awards of up to three years' duration, which will address the objectives of the Soil Security programme.

The overarching aim of the Soil Security programme is to advance understanding of the ability of soils to adapt to perturbations. It will do this by building an integrated and predictive understanding of the multiple functions of soil. This will improve forecasts of the soil system’s response to changes in climate, vegetation or land management at scales of analysis that match the scale of decision making. Delivering this aim, NERC recognises the opportunity to train a new generation of scientists who have the skills and knowledge needed to take a more multi-disciplinary approach to the study of soil, embracing new techniques and approaches from the physical, chemical and biological sciences.

Funding of up to £2m (80% FEC) from NERC and the Scottish Government is available to support projects submitted to this call. It is anticipated that up to six fellowships may be supported, depending on the size and quality of the proposals received.
