Postgraduate Scholarship in Chemistry at University of Sydney, Australia


A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate with a good honours degree in science to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in chemistry.  The project is to develop chemical probes to study redox state and to apply these tools to the study of various biological systems.

 

Eligibility

Applicants should have synthetic experience and a particular interest in the application of chemistry to the study of cellular processes. Only candidates with a Master's degree, or a first or high second class honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area will be considered. This scholarship is open to both domestic and international students.

Amount awarded

The scholarship is valued at $23,728 per annum (tax exempt) and may be renewed for up to three years, subject to satisfactory progress.
