Oxford Graduate Scholarships

The Oxford Graduate Scholarships were established to support graduate students of the highest calibre from across the world.

Over 60 scholarships are available for 2015-16 and we aim to offer up to 130 new, fully-funded scholarships each year when we meet our total fundraising goal. The University contributes 40% of the funds for these scholarships, together with 60% from generous donations provided by numerous supporters of the University and its colleges.

The very first Oxford Graduate Scholars began their studies in 2013-14. Scholarships are awarded to applicants who have demonstrated excellent academic ability, who will contribute to the University’s groundbreaking research, and who will go on to contribute to the world as leaders in their field, pushing the frontiers of knowledge. You can find a list of these scholarships below, with links to further details on the specific eligibility criteria for each scholarship.

All eligible applicants who have applied to the University by the relevant January deadline for their course  (9 January 2015 for Medical Sciences, Philosophy, Politics & International Relations and Computer Science; 23 January 2015 for all other subjects), will automatically be considered for the Oxford Graduate Scholarships, with the exception of the Oxford-Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships, which require an additional application to be made at the same time as your application to a course is made.

Scholarships available in 2015-16 include:
Multiple regions
Students from the UK and Europe
Students from Asia
