Residential Fellowships at the National Humanities Center in USA, 2017-2018





The National Humanities Center will offer up to 40 residential fellowships for advanced study in the humanities for the period September 2017 through May 2018. Applicants must have a doctorate or equivalent scholarly credentials. Mid-career scholars as well as senior scholars are encouraged to apply. Emerging scholars with a strong record of peer-reviewed work may also apply. The Center does not normally support the revision of a doctoral dissertation.

The University of Sussex is delighted to honour its much loved former music lecturer and organist Dr John Birch (1929-2012), with these named scholarships to support talented musicians (choral, organ and other instrumentalists) to continue to develop and perform while studying at Sussex.

John Dillon Fellowship





The John Dillon Memorial Fellowship was established by ACIAR in recognition of Professor John L. Dillon’s life-long support for international agricultural research.

The Fellowship scheme serves the memory of John Dillon by providing career development opportunities for outstanding young agricultural scientists or economists from ACIAR partner countries who are involved in a current or recently completed ACIAR project. 8-10 Fellowships are offered annually.

Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships





The Government of Canada launched the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) program in 2008 to strengthen Canada's ability to attract and retain world-class doctoral students and establish Canada as a global centre of excellence in research and higher learning.

Vanier Scholars demonstrate leadership skills and a high standard of scholarly achievement in graduate studies in the social sciences and/or humanities, natural sciences and/or engineering and health.

CIMO Fellowships





The CIMO Fellowships programme is open to young Doctoral level students and researchers from all countries and from all academic fields. Master's level studies or post-doctoral studies/research are not supported in the programme.

Darwin Initiative Fellowship Awards





A Darwin Fellowship Award provides funding to a UK host organisation to enable promising individuals from developing countries to come to the UK for a period of training or research.
